Drawn with chalk pastel for 2022 fall drawing I: visualizing space taught by Catherine Huang at RISD. I had to create a self-portrait as a physical space, and so I decided to meditate on the difference between exterior and interior; urban and rural; the body and the mind. I designed an original house based on my dream cottage-core home and then filled it with innocuous fire to represent my impassioned but tumultuous life. The final drawing was 36"x24".
