I designed this character at the beginning of 2023 to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit on the Chinese Zodiac. I imagined an agency of time-travelers who protected the flow of time, made up of 12 agents inspired by the animals of the zodiac. After getting the idea for the character, I started thinking about the characteristics of the rabbit that I wanted to shine through in the character. I incorporated fun, pastel colors and patterns inspired by Easter egg shells, a big jacket to mimic a rabbit's round shape, and makeup and skin patterns inspired by Beijing opera.
