Created for a Scifi and Fantasy Illustration class taught by Lars Grant-West at RISD. Based off the short story "The Paper Menagerie" by Ken Liu, I began with thumbnails and picked my 3 favorites to further explore, followed by 3 value studies. After critique, I further refined the illustration based on the suggestion from my teacher and peers.
