This was an assignment for Kim Demarco's New York, New Yorker class. For the final, I was tasked with concepting and drawing a cover that might run on the New Yorker. I decided to create mine around the concept of modern Thanksgivings, pointing out the irony of a holiday that is supposed to be about bringing the family together being held virtually. I used Norman Rockwell's famous "The Thanksgiving Picture" to highlight how the holiday has changed so much in just half a decade.
