This character, Yanyan, was designed with the concept of a stuck-up, two-faced tea server. I had the challenge of designing a character that appears beautiful and dainty upon first glance, but who's brash personality would shine through the mask. I approached this by designing an outfit made up of delicate, see-through fabrics and flower motifs, accompanied by a pose that conveyed his haughtiness. The rendered illustration was drawn after finalizing the design to create a key art that encapsulated his personality and employment.
