Created in 2021 spring fabrication lab with Juan Cruz at BTWHSPVA. An experiment with a laser cutter, this piece was originally designed digitally with vectors and then cut out onto thin sheets of wood. Afterwards, I painted each layer individually and then assembled them to create one image. Designed as a direct response to the COVID-19 quarantine that interrupted my senior year of high school, I created this piece with themes of depression, stagnation, and art block.
