Created for the Intro to Illustration 2022 wintersession class taught by Antoine Revoy at RISD. Influenced by the genre of pulp horror, I was instructed to create a scene with an overabundance of an animal of my choice. I decided to digitally illustrate a consortium of crabs surrounding a hapless figure in a stairwell while a larger-than-life crab looked on. Researching different types of crabs was the highlight of this project.
